Love Me Sweet has recently opened up in Toronto lately and I was lucky enough to be able to try it so early! & Without wait too because A & N‘s surprise delivery of this made me so happy to try Japanese cheesecake! I am also loving this coral colour on the bag!

Their logo is stapled every where – on the shopping bag, the box, even on the cake itself! I actually like their logo being simplistic… whereas Uncle Tetsu’s (read review here & here) is more cute with a cartoon/mascot. Heehee.

I know, I know, it ain’t the best picture of the cheesecake. Had to wait till after dinner to eat it hahaha. But the logo is stamped on the cheesecake as well.

Cutting up the cake, it will be about 8 pieces to split!
The cheesecake tastes light but still has a good chunk of cheesecake in it. The fluffy-ness texture is the initial bite, with a heavier core of the cake with a slightly creamier filling in the middle. I enjoyed it quite a bit, but I can probably only take one slice because I find the cheesecake taste strong and I’m not a huge fan of cheesecake, haha. Even though between the regular Western cheesecake and Japanese cheesecake is very obvious because regular cheesecake is heavier and more cheese whereas Japanese cheesecake is light and fluffy with mild cheesecake. I feel like I’m so odd because most people like pizza and cheesecake whereas I don’t, hahaha.
I’m not able to talk about the service, line up or anything else about the place! But hearing from A & N, the lady from Love Me Sweet mentioned that the cheesecake can last up to 3 days max~ It seems like they’re sold out pretty quick (obviously), so be sure to go early! And I also believe it’s one cheesecake per person.
Edit: Love Me Sweet left me a comment on my Instagram and confirmed that it isn’t one cheesecake per person! 🙂
I did enjoy Love Me Sweet’s cheesecake, and hopefully the Uncle Tetsu line dies off soon so I can try it from there, heehee. Special thanks to A & N for the delivery!
Till next time, ♥
