Suehiro Cafe was a small Japanese restaurant that was nearby and they open till 3 AM, which was super helpful for late night meals, heehee.
Ordered the Chicken Karaage and it was piping hot when we got it! We found it to be more like the Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken though, so it was just okay.
Chicken KaraageHere is their Katsudon, topped with green onions, onions, pork katsu and rice. They also gave miso soup for the meal!
KatsudonI had the Pork Katsu Curry which came in a huge portion. The Katsu Curry came with potatoes and mushrooms. The Pork Katsu was nice and tender, which made it easy to eat. The Curry was spicy and sweet, just like any Japanese curry should be. The Pork Katsu Curry definitely satisfied my cravings.

We also came by again for a late night snack, heehee. This time we had the Beef Udon Noodles and the Gyudon Beef Bowl.
Beef Udon NoodlesThe Beef Udon Noodles tasted alright whereas I didn’t like my Gyudon Beef Bowl at all since it had waaay more vegetables rather than beef 🙁 ! I did like the addition of the glass noodles and I assumed that my dish came with an egg. Safe to say, I was not full from this dish – luckily I bought chips earlier.
Gyudon Beef BowlOverall, Suehiro Cafe was a decent place to go to. The servers here are really nice and friendly. Although the place is a little small, there always seem to be people in here even when we walk by it. If you’re looking for late night eats, keep an eye out for Suehiro Cafe in Little Tokyo, LA.
