📍 238 East 1st Street, Los Angeles, USA

Dropped by Mike’s Deli as it was on the way and convenient to where I was heading. To my surprise, Mike’s Deli was a quaint little sandwich shop but they also sell chips and pop/sodas. Their sandwiches feature Boar’s Head deli meat and cheeses.
I got one of their specialty sandwiches, The Classic Club that contained Maple Glazed Honey Turkey, Swiss Cheese, bacon & avocado with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mustard and mayonnaise.
The options and customization at Mike’s Deli was plenty – the different types of bread (rye and sourdough), tons of cold cuts available (different options of ham, turkey and chicken), even different type of cheeses (Swiss, American, Provolone, etc)!
It was quite overwhelming for a first timer so I asked for recommendations for my Classic Club. The girl who served me was really friendly, answered all my questions and I went with her suggestions for my food order. They have a couple of patio tables outside and a bar table inside for quick eating. Service was quick and efficient – I got my food within 10 – 15 minutes.
The sandwich turned out super huge! I couldn’t finish it in one seating so I saved the other half for later. The Classic Club was filling, but it didn’t stand out much. I would definitely say that Mike’s Deli gives you bang for your buck though! It was a bonus that I was able to save money.
Give Mike’s Deli a try and let me know your thoughts!
Till next time, ♥
