Route 66 Sign at Santa Monica
We took a day trip out to Santa Monica because Santa Monica has been on my travel list since forever.
I visited the Promegrande Mall, Third Street Promenade, Santa Monica Beach and Santa Monica Pier where the Pacific Theme Park (the famous Ferris wheel) and Route 66 Sign was. I also saw the Ocean Avenue street sign, which was an inspiration to one of my favourite songs Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard.
I’m happy that I was able to cross off a couple of things off my list just by visiting Santa Monica for the day. Would have liked to stay for a night and fully explore Santa Monica and perhaps visit the beach and see Santa Monica Pier lit up during the night time… but there’s always next time! 😀
