Dessert time is much needed after munching at my all-time-favourite soondubu place at Yonge & Finch.
J and I stumbled upon Café Daily while looking up suggestions on Yelp. However, we were happy that we did because it was so cosy! There were a few people here studying, the vibe was soothing with soft music in the background. We found a seat near the back of the cafe. Although we sat next to what seems like a first-date, LMAO…

Café Daily seemed like they specialize in bingsu (also known as Korean shaved ice) as they had so many flavours to offer. We decided on the Strawberry Bingsu and an Iced Matcha Latte. We were too busy chatting to notice the waitress coming to our table. I found the tray super cute, haha.
I haven’t tried bingsu much, so I relied on my friend for her recommendation. Bingsu is a good dessert for summer to combat the heat, plus it comes in so many flavours! From fruit flavours such as Mango and Melon to more Asian-flavours like Red Bean and Injeolmi.
Anyway: back to Café Daily! I loved the Strawberry Bingsu! It wasn’t overly sweet (which I worried about) and strawberries were aplenty. It was great to share with a friend (or a date, wink). Meanwhile, the Iced Matcha Latte was okay, nothing special to highlight and I still enjoyed it. I would definitely come back to try their other bingsu flavours. I was eyeing the Iced Americano and will definitely try it when I come back!
Note: If you are trying to look up Cafe Daily, they used to be called Cafe Bene, so there might be some confusion about it as a result.
